Former teacher and professional musician Bruce Pegg lives in Cazenovia, New York but was born and raised in Leicester, England. He is the author of Brown Eyed Handsome Man: The Life and Hard Times of Chuck Berry (Routledge, 2002) and wrote the liner notes for Rock and Roll Music: Any Old Way You Choose It, Bear Family Records’ comprehensive 16 CD collection of Berry’s entire studio output and select live recordings.
